We are a group of frum families living in vibrant Jewish communities who appreciate the excellent work of Chabad Shluchim globally. Adopt-a-Shliach is our way of partnering with the Shliach and helping Yidden connect with Yiddishkeit wherever possible.

With nearly 10,000 Chabad Shluchim worldwide doing fantastic work, Adopt-a-Shliach focuses on unusual and unique centers that could benefit significantly from extra monthly support. In addition, our rigorous Shliach adoption process ensures that your funds make the most impact for klal yisroel.

1) Monthly (or one-time) donors can choose a Shliach and direct all funds directly to that Shliach.
2) Monthly (or one-time) donors can choose the Adopt-a-Shliach fund, which equally divides the funds amongst our adopted Shluchim monthly.

No. Adopt-a-Shliach is non-profit,  our staff is a group of volunteers, and all funds go directly to the shluchim.

Yes. Adopt-a-Shliach, is a 501-c-3 under Chabad Lubavitch Cypress  IRS tax EIN #20-1413896, and all donations are tax-deductible.

Yes. Whenever a Jewish University student in Nottingham, UK, wants to start studying Torah or keeping shabbis, we all feel responsible and want to help. Lucky for us (living in vibrant Jewish communities thousands of miles away), Rabbi Lent agreed to move to Nottingham, UK, with his wife and kids.

And he has already invited all the Jewish students to his Chabad House for Shabbis dinner. So we adopted Rabbi Lent, and our monthly partnership allows him to cover the cost of running his Chabad House. It's a win-win.
